Introduction to DevOps Principles and Frameworks
Day 1 of the course covers a comprehensive understanding of DevOps, starting with an overview of DevOps principles and the Three Ways approach, which is spread across two hours. The session also includes a brief introduction to the Theory of Constraints, followed by a hands-on TOC activity taking up two hours. The Cynefin Framework is introduced in the last hour of the day. Lunch and tea breaks provide participants with time to refresh and recharge during the seven-hour session. By the end of Day 1, attendees will have gained a solid foundation in DevOps principles and practices, setting the stage for further learning and practical application throughout the course.
Deepening DevOps Practices and Transformation
Day 2 of the course delves deeper into DevOps practices, starting with Kanban Flow and Practice, which is covered in one hour. The session also includes an introduction to the Phoenix Project Simulation and the actual Phoenix Game, taking up a combined total of three hours. Participants will gain hands-on experience in applying DevOps principles and strategies through this interactive simulation. DevOps Transformation is discussed in the next hour, followed by insights into leadership and creating a DevOps roadmap. The day concludes with a final assessment test. Lunch and tea breaks provide participants with time to recharge during the seven-hour session. By the end of Day 2, attendees will have acquired practical skills and knowledge to drive DevOps transformation and create a roadmap for organizational success.
